Program Spotlight: Life Skills Counseling

Stress is a major cause of illness and family strife. The Jewish community can help. Jewish Family Service provides private counseling sessions and support groups with professional psychotherapists to assist individuals and families in addressing life challenges. Common areas of concern are stress, depression, anxiety, life changes and relationship conflicts both at home and in the workplace. Psychotherapists assist clients in understanding life challenges and developing strategies to manage them in a constructive and healthy manner. All contacts are confidential, and fees are adjustable. For information on this program, please call us at 949 435-3460 or 714 445-4950.

Program Spotlight: Jewish Big Friends/Little Friends

Jewish Family Service is seeking positive mentors and role models to children in need through the matching of men and women volunteers with appropriate boys and girls.  Big Friends provide friendship, understanding and guidance in the context of a stable, compassionate and long-term relationship with the Little Friend.

Become a Jewish Family Service Big Friend volunteer. Lend a hand, be a friend, make a difference. For more information on the Jewish Big Friends-Little Friends program, contact Marcia Marcinko, Director of Volunteers and Outreach at 949 435-3460/714 445-4950, email: marcia@jfsoc.org
