Program Spotlight: Cancer Support Groups
Do you know someone whose life is affected by cancer? Reduce depression, stress, anxiety, and isolation. Restore hope and a sense of control. Improve the quality of your life. Learn how to live better after a cancer diagnosis.
Jewish Family Service (JFS) and The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles (TWC-WLA) are joining together to bring services to cancer patients and their loved ones in Orange County at no cost to participants.
TWC-WLA is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones enhance their health and well-being by providing a professional program of emotional support, education and hope. JFS is an agency whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for people at all stages of the life cycle through counseling and support groups. To fulfill these missions TWC-WLA and JFS have joined together to bring support groups to cancer patients and their families. The groups will take place at the JFS offices on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in Irvine on the Samueli Jewish Campus.
