A Story from Jewish Family Service
David and his wife Amy came to Jewish Family Service for couples counseling. Married for 5 years, they were struggling to keep their marriage together. The death of a close family member made things worse. They saw a counselor who listened to their problems and helped them to sort out issues and communicate without judging or blaming. They found ways of dealing constructively with their problems. David told his counselor about the sense of peace and accomplishment he felt as a result of their counseling experience at JFS.
