The Jewish Healing Center, a program of Jewish Family Service was established in 1996 with the purpose of providing counseling and support services to Jewish individuals and families who are coping with long term illness, disabilities and emotional trauma. An additional program has been added to serve Jewish inmates incarcerated in the Orange County jails.
The Jewish Healing Center program components are:
- Counseling & support groups
- Chaplaincy visitations - in facilities, in-home, jails and prisons
Chaplains, Rabbi Levi Blesofsky, Chaplain Linda Seidman and Rabbi Larry Seidman - Information & assistance helpline for community resources
- Visitations to the sick or injured from th Bikur Cholim Society
